Are You Healthy?

What does health mean to you?

To me, health is much more than being symptom-free. My perspective changed radically after my own healing journey from cancer a decade ago.

I have met people living with chronic diseases whom I would describe as truly healthy. They are in full acceptance, managing their health challenges with grace and gratitude. They feel deeply connected to their hearts and souls and some are in service for others.

And I have met others who become upset when their body does not perform “as it should.” They want to “fix” it quickly, longing to return to a symptom-free life or overrunning the needs of the body. In those moments, the relationship with the body often has been lost. The focus shifts to fixing only instead of listening to the whispers of life. I have been there, too.

Some time ago, I met an elderly man who was very wealthy — and very sick. 
He told me, “If I could exchange my wealth for health, I would do it right away.”

I have also met people who are “healthy” from a medical perspective and yet deeply unhappy, hustling, running, feeling empty inside.

And I recall my own earlier version that did not listen to her body. Traveling across time zones, meeting colleagues at the bar after late arrivals, jumping into meetings the next morning, boarding the next plane two days later. Completely disconnected from rest and myself. That was my unconscious version and the above is only one of many examples.

✨What Health Means to Me Now✨

It means reconnecting with who I am – feeling whole, exploring and choosing who I want to be (yes, we can choose), and growing into that next version of myself. It means being of service, making an impact, creating my new company while at the same time feeling vital and connected.

My chosen identity is:

✨ I am health.
✨ I am balance.
✨ I am connection.
✨ I am joy.
✨ I am quality.
✨ I am a conscious self-leader.
✨ I am the artist of my life.

✨ And yes — I am and feel much younger now. That’s the reward of inner work.✨
